Our next 1st Friday Bluegrass gathering will be on Friday, March 5th 2010. Scheduled to appear are: The Kentucky Possum Wranglers; Ken Mallard and Chickasaw, and The Cope Brothers.
Congratulations to Josh Williams on his sixth consecutive SPBGMA Guitar Player of the year award, at the 2010 SPBGMA awards show on February 7, 2010.
Our congratulations to Mr. Justin McKendree, and Ms. Callie Clark who will become husband and wife on March 6, 2010, at 3:00 PM at the Village Chapel at Grace Park, 506 Hester Drive, in Whitehouse, Tennessee. A reception will follow in the Village Chapel Fellowship Hall following the ceremony. A local shower will be held in the couple’s honor on March 21, 2010 at the activities building of the Bethel Baptist Church from three to five PM at 2604 Tatumsville Hwy, in Gilbertsville. The JPFOB is pleased to announce that Donna Ulisse and The Poor Mountain Boys, will be in concert to benefit WAAJ Radio 89.7 FM at the Kentucky Opry on Friday evening of April 9, 2010 at 7:30 PM. Tickets for this concert are only $10.00 each. Donna is a great songwriter, singer, and entertainer. You should not miss this great show!
