------ANNOUNCEMENTS------

The next planning meeting for the 6TH ANNUAL KENTUCKY LAKE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL will be held at the Extension Office on May 11th at 3:00 PM. All officers need to attend if possible to make last minute plans for the festival

THE 6TH ANNUAL KENTUCKY LAKE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL - We will again be presenting the KLBF at the Kenlake State Resort Park Amphitheater, on Friday and Saturday, June 13 & 14, 2008. After considering all the offers we have had for contributions by individuals to help continue the festival, the officers of the JPFOB have decided to accept your donations for the festival in exchange for donors names being listed in the program as "supporter". No mention of any amount contributed will be listed and no special favors or discounts will be given or allowed for any supporter. These donations have to be because the donor wants to help continue this festival. Our association has exhausted all reasonable requests for sponsorship and has still fallen short of the needed amount to replace the funding lost by the withdrawal of the Marshall County Tourist Commission. Some changes in our operations have been necessary, so please attend our March Bluegrass Night to hear about the changes for the upcoming Festival. If you, as an individual or small business owner, are unable to sponsor at the $500 level or above, and wish to donate to help continue the festival, please send your check or money order made payable to Kentucky Lake Bluegrass Festival to the address below.
